Before Ordering
Where to Start with your project...
Do I need to order a sample before purchasing wallpaper?
We highly recommend ordering a sample before placing a full order. Screens can display colors differently, and a sample allows you to see the actual color, texture, and quality of the wallpaper in your space before committing to a larger purchase.
What do I do after I received my sample?
Congratulations on your first step to personalizing your space! Once confirming it is the correct design and adhesions you ordered, the next step is to test the bond.
Place the sample(s) somewhere on the wall you are wanting to work on. Be sure that the spot is somewhere that has exposure to any light source such as over head lights, lamps, and windows. Lightning can have a big effect on how colors are perceived.
When applying to your wall, make sure to have a clean and dry surface and ensure you use pressure to get the air bubbles out using a squeegee. After 7 days, see if the sample is still sticking like it should be. The edges should be bonded to the wall as well as the rest of the sample. If happy with the results, you are ready to order your full wallpaper panels! If there are curling edges, you likely need a stronger adhesion for your walls. Please reach out if you need help ordering!
What is the difference between peel-and-stick, traditional, and pre-pasted wallpaper?
- Peel-and-Stick: A removable, self-adhesive wallpaper that requires no glue or water. Great for renters or temporary installations.
- Traditional (Unpasted): Requires wallpaper adhesive and is ideal for long-term applications.
- Pre-Pasted: Comes with adhesive activated by water—easy to install and remove.
Can I install peel-and-stick wallpaper in a bathroom or kitchen?
Our peel-and-stick wallpaper is water-resistant and works well in bathrooms and kitchens with proper ventilation. However, it should not be installed in areas where it will have direct, constant exposure to water(such as inside a shower).

How do I calculate how much wallpaper I need?
To determine how much wallpaper to order, measure the height and width of your wall and refer to our sizing guide. If you need assistance, our team is happy to calculate the quantity for you—just send us your wall dimensions, and we’ll help ensure a perfect fit!
Can I just order a long panel and cut it into several panels for small places?
No. Most designs are actually wider than the paper itself, so it may take several sheets to repeat the pattern. If you cut the paper and try to hang them next to each other, you will be missing some of the design, which would not make it seamless.
If you need a special size made, or if you are just unsure of what you need, please contact us via chat or email.
Do you sell panels or rolls?
We sell panels for your wall. Each panel will be numbered and is meant to be hung starting on the left with panel #1. The panels are not meant to cut and use them next to each other. For instance, if you order 3 panels, they would need to be hung 1, 2, then 3. If you cut #1 in half to use as #2, it will not line up correctly. Please contact us if you need a custom size wallpaper, or you have questions on what to order. Your paper will come neatly rolled because this is the only way to efficiently ship it to you without any damage.
How long does it take to receive my wallpaper order?
Since all of our wallpaper is printed to order, production typically takes 3-5 business days, plus shipping time. We strive to keep to this timeframe, but sometimes slight delays or follow-up inquiries can require additional time. We also offer processing time upgrades at checkout for those needing their order sooner. If you have a specific deadline, please reach out, and we’ll do our best to accommodate!

Can I apply wallpaper over textured walls?
For best results, wallpaper should be applied to smooth, clean, and dry walls. While some peel-and-stick wallpapers may adhere to lightly textured surfaces, results can vary depending on the texture depth. Heavier textures, such as knockdown, orange peel, or heavily embossed finishes, may prevent proper adhesion and can cause the wallpaper to lift over time. See wallpaper descriptions for more thorough details or reach out and we can help!
If your walls have texture, we recommend:
✔ Ordering a sample first to test adhesion.
✔ Sanding or priming the wall to create a smoother surface.
✔ Using a wallpaper liner underneath for better adhesion.
For best results, we always recommend installing wallpaper on a smooth, primed wall to ensure a clean and seamless look.
Should I paint or clean my walls before applying?
A cleaner wall will create a better bond with the wallpaper. That being said, a fresh coat of paint is great for a the best bond. Please note that the paint should cure for 30 days so the wallpaper has the optimal surface to stick to. If you decide to just clean your walls, be sure to let them completely dry before applying the wallpaper.
Where on the wall should I Start applying?
From our experience, we recommend starting on the left most side of your biggest wall you are applying on. Starting at the corner of the wall, you should measure out the first panel to apply as your initial guide. The first panel application is very important! This is what then guides the following panels. If your initial panel is not applied correctly and is crooked in any way, the following panels will end up having that as well and will show up as you install more panels.
What Do the Numbers on the Back of My Wallpaper Mean?
Think of your wall as a big mural. Each sheet must be hung in order to complete the design correctly. The repeat pattern on a few of our designs happen to be the same width as the paper, so if your wallpaper just says "top" or "bottom", then it doesn't matter the order they are hung.
Will my wallpaper have a visible seam?
Our wallpaper is designed with a ½-inch overlap (for peel-and-stick) or a butt seam (for traditional and pre-pasted) to ensure a smooth, seamless look when installed correctly. Overlapping helps prevent gaps due to wall shifts and installation variations.
What does the term seamless mean?
The term seamless is used when the pattern of the paper is arranged so that the panels can be joined together to appear as one sheet. Each sheet will be numbered, so it is very important to start with number 1 on the left.
Sheets are not meant to be cut and placed next to each other. In most cases, the pattern would not line up. Contact us if you need a special custom size.
Contact paper is NOT seamless, but if you do need it to be, please leave a note in your cart before clicking on CHECKOUT. Wallpaper is always seamless.
How do I remove wallpaper without damaging my walls?
Peel-and-Stick: Gently pull from one corner at a 45-degree angle. If any adhesive remains, wipe it off with warm water and mild soap.
Pre-Pasted & Traditional: Use warm water and a wallpaper removal solution to loosen the adhesive before peeling.
